Breitling Watch Deals

My husband is turning 40 this year and I wanted to get a surveillance society. I'm just starting my research on this, so I have limited knowledge about the specifics for watches. He mentioned that the gradice Heuer watches of the amendment and particularly of Breitling watches. From that know little about Breitling, I am sure that I could not allow. I'm looking to spend about $ 1000 - $ 1500. FYI, swim and is training for triathlons, so I'm thinking something that sports could be able to use. Can anyone make recommendations and also talk about the different types of movements (ie, quartz and anything else is out there on time precision that keeps)?
